Language should never be a barrier to communication, that is why interpreting is the answer for those who do not share a common language. The heart of interpreting is providing a verbal form of translation from a certain source language to a preferred language of the audience.
It is important that interpreters accurately convey the speaker’s intended message without making any additions, omissions, or alterations to the speech. Interpreters have at least five methods to execute this role which can be adjusted to the needs, namely consecutive interpreting, simultaneous interpreting, whisper interpreting, escort/travel interpreting, and over-the-phone interpreting.
